Healers work surprisingly well with PEKKAs. Rage spell makes them heal tons of HP, and they lock onto PEKKAs due to their high housing space.

There's no need to lure CC or anything, since healers can outheal the damage from the usual CC troop composition. All wiz CC could be a problem though, due to their insane spike damage.

Yeah, I noticed only after using them for a while. For example 1x Golem has more "pull" on the healer than 1x PEKKA. But when there are 2x PEKKAs then they have more "pull" than 1x Golem. The BK has more "pull" than 1x PEKKA. Also by that same logic, wizards will almost never pull healers off a group of PEKKAs (which I've also noticed on my attacks).

Healer also considers when troops are damaged or full HP. Damaged troops get priority. How much damage doesn't matter, only if they have any damage or are full HP. So a damaged PEKKA can pull healer off a full HP Golem, for example.

Lol, maybe I should make a guide of all this. Not sure if anyone will care, though. >_<

Another attack, this time against a more serious base (lv10 cannons/AT, lv6 ADs, CC troops):


I often can make it right thru the base, but fail getting the elusive 3rd star, unless base has really low defenses.

Please give me examples of war strategies that i can use for guaranteed stars ive tried hogs they work sometime but bases with loads of gaps are dodgy and dragons are hard to control sometimes.
Would be much appreciated if you could help me.

First, dragons are not hard to control when you understand how they target. They move to the closest building, so destroy the buildings on each end of the side you are attacking to "break the chain" and the dragons will move toward the center of the base.

Next, there is no "one-size-fits-all" all war strategy that guarantees stars. I've seen TH9s use GoWiPes and Mass Dragon at TH8s and get shut out because the attacker was just throwing troops out with no idea of why. Find a good war clan and ask for help.

One 3 star attack:


Base design made it a lot easier. Two ADs down right off the bat. A SAM took a healer early on, but even just two healers were enough to keep tanks at max HP. Wizes died to GB (as they usually do >_>) and got lucky with that last healer surviving. SAM took her out a bit later, though.

The four PEKKAs made it to the end though, which probably made the difference for that last star.

Another 3 star, this time on a war attack:


It wasn't a particularly strong base, since it was way too spread out.

Had one PEKKA go the wrong direction and later on trigger the CC prematurely, dragging a few archers in the wrong direction. Later those archers dragged my other PEKKAs as well. At that point I though the attack was done for. >_<

Luckily the PEKKAs and wizes managed to pull thru. The healers couldn't do much this time around (they got pulled right into the ADs), but still managed to refill at least one PEKKA to near full HP.

Yeah, give it a try. It's loads of fun seeing HP bars go up like crazy due to raged healers. On the vids it is a bit hard to appreciate the insane heal speed of raged healers.

As a TH8 clasher, I have seen success with Hogs, Dragons, Balloons and GoWiPe.
Of course you have to pick the right attack for the base you are attacking. At TH8 there is so much of choice.
My preference is Hogs (3 Star everytime)
Other attacks are Dragons\Loons, Hogs\Loons, Mass Dragons, GoWiPe for tough TH9-10 bases.
