what to gem?

(please don't try to convince me to buy a builder/use it all on boosts/etc. because I won't listen to you)


so I'm gonna get a $40 pack of gems soon (5k gems total) but I'm split on what to use them on: getting my teslas from 2 to 4 or maxing my splash towers (both just time, not resources). what do you think?

p.s. any surplus gems will probably go to boosts but if I have over 1,000 left over I may use them to unlock golems

IMO the tesla, because they take so friggin long to upgrade.

However, i would save them for TH9. Unless you plan on buying more.

I would always recommend gemming offence not defence. Defending isn't ever fun, and you can do it better by putting your town hall out. Better attack is better target choices, more interesting strategy choices, and more fun. Gemming teslas/wiz towers is a very kind gift to supercell and I don't think you'll get much benefit.

I already upgraded all the troops I frequently use so I can just wait on the lab, no really exciting upgrades left anymore

I hate to be the guy that recommends something else than what the OP wants, but why don't you get a fifth builder?
A fifth one really helps! If not, then I'd definitely say splash!

2 days = 383 gems
383 gems x 12 = 4,596
5,000 - 4,596 = 404

I just don't really need it yet, I'll consider getting it at TH9
4 is enough for TH8
