    Quit boom after 3 days

One I found I couldn't build a full army while a transport was upgrading, I quit and never looked back. It was too much of a "gem it up or only play for 5 minutes a day" experience for me. Ironic part is now about a year later, I only play clash for five minutes a day.

First off, Boom has shorter build times, but gems/diamonds cost exactly the same. In boom. you can still get alot of diamonds for free without having to drop tons of money.

Second, boom beach has better Matchmaking, and singleplayer levels. The levels commonly repeat, giving the player more loot/victory points. You can scout a base Without any loot, but in Clash you have to spend tons of gold just to search for a base.

Third, the army/battle system is way more planned out. You can only use 1 tye of troop per landing craft. There are also no walls, and you can retreat/lose a battle without losing medals.
I find it ironic had you compared clash to any other game besides another supercell game this thread would of been closed by now.

I played Boom Beach for some time. It was fun in the beginning. I think its AI is not as painful as Clash AI. I liked the attack system. It is good that we get our troops back if they are alive.

But after some time, Boom Beach becomes painful. It takes forever to collect resources like stones. I gave up and uninstalled it.

Well first of the build time is longer because you can only build/ upgrade one building at a time, you get 5 builders on clash with a max build time of 14 days so need to divide 14 days by 5 to get an equal build time and the later he upgrades take longer than that, the better you do on boom the harder your opponents get so matchmaking isn't any different it's the same, and thirdly you are dropping groups of groups from the boats not single troops like you do on clash so your third point in more of a hindrance than a help, their 2 different games you can't complete the 2 but you forgot the only good point that it does have over clash of clans, that your surviving troops stay alive for the next battle

Never played Boom Beach, but I would love if they added the feature to Clash where you keep troops that don't die in a raid

I think Boom Beach is a lot of fun, and improves on some aspects of Clash. I've heard from some Clash players who tried out Boom Beach for a couple days and quit after not liking it, which makes me think SC needs to tweak the experience for newer players.

But, if you invest some time into the game it really is fun, especially after you get some good statues.
