Third Party Scammers EXPLAINED
This is a thread classifying Third Party Scammers claiming to give free gems. If you dislike reading, then be sure to skip to the end.
SIDE-NOTE: Most of the links in this thread are fake, or made up.
Now, I bet everyone have already caught a glimpse of third Party advertisements whether In the Comments of a YouTube video, or an In-Game ad. Some examples of websites claiming to give free gems include: getcocgem.com, and clashofclanshelper.com.
There are many reasons that you can probably tell why these are just bogus.
1. There is no possible way to "H.a.c.k" Clash of Clans since the game is being run on a server
2. If any of you have ever attempted to use any of these websites, they might claim to not have a survey, but actually do (Ill explain more about that later) Well, you're prompted to enter Your username right? Well just remember the reason why searching for players by their name is ruled out: THERE ARE TOO MANY PLAYERS WITH THE SAME NAME!
And now onto YouTube videos...
I bet many of you reading this right now have certainly entered "Clash of Clans" into the search box. But why is the first thing that pops up something something like "Free Clash of Clans gems 999gemhax.com". Well, many third party organizations acquire multiple YouTube accounts. When a keyword is being searched alot, It may appear as a "Popular Search". Multiple accounts is also the reason why each comment has many likes/feedback.
Most of the time, when you click on a link in the description of a video claiming to have free gems, it might look something like this: adf.ly/38SHS29. If anybody is not familiar with adf.ly, it is a website where you can shorten links and earn money. Now not only are those organizations scammers, but they earn money at the same time. With websites like adf.ly, you are most likely to earn 10$ for every 1,000 visitors visiting the shortened link, and clicking the skip-ad button.
So why are there so many surveys on every third party website? The truth is that Major Companies are actually paying those organizations and their websites thousands of dollars to implement their Survey onto the Third-Party websites considering the large amounts of people that are actually falling for all those 2-hour long surveys. In-fact, I'v NEVER gotten to the end of one.
And for all of you that were able to get away with discounted gems, your day will come soon...Just sit back and wait...if you're lucky, god will let you watch.
Clash of Clans has a history of c.h.e.a.ting. Many top players' accounts were being compromised mainly because they were entering their Game Center information on third party Websites that claim to have free/discounted gems.
And now we alternate the topic to George Yao.
George Yao became the first to reach 4000 trophies and dominated the leader boards staying as the #1 player for 6 months. He would usually play Clash of clans for 48 hours in a row. However, the game started affecting his health. George Yao quickly lost 20 pounds, and would usually spend about 250$ in the game every week. He would take over clan members' accounts when they quit and attack his own, rapidly maturating his stats, which is why he is still refereed to as "The #1 C.h.e.a.t.er of Clash of Clans"
