I think best donations is the best way to go. It improves their ratio, gets them close to their sweet victory achievement, encourages activity, and gets people to donate, which is great for everybody!

Only problem I see is they may donate tons of giants even though nobody wants them. :/

You could give it to the overall best- use those ideas you have and give them a weighting and the best one is the person who has been the most consistantly good in all of them.

3. most recieved
4. most attacks won
5. most defenses won
6. highest trophies

in this scenario 'Player a' would be the top person and get the reward

You might want to have many categories and then choose a couple each season. That way the same people don't keep getting the itunes cards. Most clans will always have the same person or two that have the most trophies or are the highest donations, so you will keep giving the same couple of peeps the itunes and no one else gets any. Might actually start hurting your clan more than it helps in the long run.

Pretty cool of you to do this for your clanmates. I think loot stolen, whether it be gold, elixer, dark, or a combo, would be something worth encouraging.
