    I suggested in an earlier thread that winning a defence should earn you a point. Those points add up and as you reach certain levels it reduces your 'next' cost by a certain percentage.

    This could just last the two weeks, it has no real impact on the economy of the game and gives active players that have decent defences some form of refund on the trap reset costs.

    With the current system and rules defending is pointless even for trophy pushing.
    I always put my TH outside even when I was max TH7 and My storages were full (gold/elixir/DE was full) and just want to trophy push for fun. I prefer to get snipe rather than 3 stars.
    I only see one reason for putting the TH inside.
    If you are TH10 with infernos and just raid causally with a long training troop like balloonion and your cup is not too high (below 2100 i think) you better put your TH inside so there is a big chance nobody attack you between raids.

    Defense is not too expensive. You want trophies? Work for it. Earn it. If you have maxed storages put your TH outside. I put my loot outside on defense so pepole can snipe it so I can get to masters (FE's gonna be fun!). Anyway, it's easy to build up 2mil gold in a day or two to put out.

    Why? Just play boom beach if that's the loot system you prefer. I play both, not really wanting this one to turn into that one.

    No, that would make it to hard to get loot.

    And loot is important in this game.

    Yes to better defense, no to shutting out the loot.

    I would rather see defenders get loot for winning and remove the cost of traps.

    Boom beach also does not have shields. The problem is the shield system. If shield times would depend on strength of units killed the whole problem of ths in the corner will be solved. Higher leagues should have less shield time for the same units killed to compensate for more active players. This will also fix loot in higher leagues loot at th10 and reduce nexting count.

    there is a loot penalty for attacking someone lower even if you do snipe.

    th10 sniping th 6 only gets 50 gold and 50 elixir for a snipe plus bonus loot for league.

    there is no trophy penalty and shouldnt be one because trophies are earned through hard work and loot is free from mines and collectors.
