Trying a new 'gag' armies for fun doesn't seem like a good way to keep interest in the long run. You should try to set goals like practicing various strong 3 starring army/techniques, regardless of cost.

You could also start a new account. You can enjoy getting lots of loot without needing to next tens of times and feel like a god among the noobs

Do 100% raids like in war while farming. It will force you to play less. If you barch a lot, it tends to get a little boring !
