There are multiple apps that you can use for this sort of thing. It will differ based on what device you are using.

thanks guys. i was using display recorder but when i add the video to splice and apps like that to add audio to the video the picture blacks out when i save it for some reason. Does airserver record the audio from the game?

I never play with sound enabled, but to answer your question, I just recorded a couple of seconds with music and sound effects active. Yes, it does record the sound. At least on the Mac, cannot try Windows, sorry.
