I've got lava hounds left... But I'm staying TH9 for another year to max out my lavas and heroes

You get more DE at 10... Why stay a year here??
TH10 loot sucks and i want full lavas, cause they are gorgeous
Anyway, a 3rd Drill is not gonna change that much about my DE ratio as i rely more on farming it rather than collecting it

That is basically what it comes down to. I totally agree with people that max TH9 before going to TH10 and I fully understand that most players are not going to raid fast enough to pay for full lava walls before their other buildings are done, but this rumor that you have to stay at TH9 because heroes take too long is false. If you actually focus on heroes from the beginning you will likely find your lab work still going when your last hero upgrades to 30. The reason people say heroes take so long is because most players totally neglect upgrading their heroes for most of TH9 and only get around to it at the end (or they insist on having one active hero at all times which doubles the time it takes to upgrade them both to 30).As he said, if your lab is empty, you're doing it wrong. You didn't raid fast enough
I fully understand that most people (myself included) don't have 10 hours to raid each day and may need to spend some extra months at TH9 to finish up their walls, but if you are done with your buildings and your heroes are not at least in their 20's it means you weren't even trying to keep them upgrading during the first several months of TH9.
