So now the problem is that I have 600 k full elixir all the time. I wish if I could use it for walls from lvl 6 to 7 or lvl 7 to 8.

time to practice your expensive goxxxx armies then or go on and jump to TH9
I intentionally did my elix projects first at TownHall 7 and can't wait to be in the same position at TH 8. (This is on my alt account). While finishing the gold jobs, I built Dragon armies and went hunting the Dark. Got everything upgraded on the Dark side and had a ball doing so. Dragons lose their effectiveness at THs 9 and 10, so 7 and 8 are the place to really enjoy playing with the troop. Personally I was very happy when they took away the wall option to use the elix on.
Don't see how this is really a problem. I'm a TH8 myself and don't have a problem with all the excess elixir I have.
Easy way to use it is to use all dragon armies. Practice funneling, lightning AD drops, rage placement etc...
Also a nice time to donate some expensive elixir troops to your clan if you are in one. Better have more than not enough in this case.
upgrade to TH9, if you don't want to "waste" them
maxed out TH9, minus the heroes

Add Giants to your Barch and concentrate on getting through to gold storages. have you pekka lvl 3 yet? Good way to spend 6 million elixir. I remember this problem was not just at th8 but I had it at th5 and 6 as well
Researches, donations, warring with mass dragons, costly farming army and all upgrades can not burn the elixir in TH8 if you are an active player/farmer. IMO you should rush to TH9. I press TH9 upgrade button yesterday so I will be a TH9 9 days later.Originally Posted by AussieMenace

I donate 10 dragons daily in average.
I manage to do balloons and golem lvl2 during transition period. That one normal barrack will be upgraded in this 9 days.
TH9 is a place to burn everything Elixir, DE and gold. You need countless elixir for walls and DE for heroes.

36,000 per dragon * 10 = 360k per raid just on dragons alone.
Add in rage spells * 3 = 99k per raid on spells.
So you are spending about 460k per raid with mass dragons. You also donate another 10 dragons daily which amounts to another 360k.
Your definition of "active" must be very different from mine.
Im not a hard-core farmer. I even dont farm elixir at all. I will press skip button when I see 400K elixir but 20K gold.

We war once a week so I should invest 1.5M elixir for war for my attacks, donating dragons in clanmates clan, ...
I donate 10 dragons daily in average including war day. it is 360K at minimum. round it to 400K.
my FiN is above 30K.
elixir Upgrades and researches need about 500K elixir daily. I can detail it if you want to know.
It is 1.5M/7 + 400K donations + 500K for upgrades = 1.2M elixir
But I farm between 3.5-4M gold daily. I dont count my elixir farming but it will be lower because I dont focus on it.
but I will farm at least 2M elixir daily (net elixir farming exclude the army cost)
2,000,000 - 1,200,000 = 800,000 excess elixir daily.
that is the least excess elixir. I will waste more than that.
edit:
I forgot to say I put my elixir storages semi expose and do not collect any elixir from collectors.
So any attacker will get +400K elixir from me.
Th10 only can get 50% of course.
