something weird I've noticed about gold

the gold in the mines and clan castle storages is shown as gold nuggets, but the gold inside the actual storages is shown as coins... why the change?

Cause gold nuggets in the storage is against clash law. So when you collect the loot the gold is grinded up into pieces for the stoage.

This. I don't need to know if the xbows will hit my air attack only if that gold nugget in the clan castle can be converted to actual currency to put into my base storages because it sure doesn't look like it!!

Forget the gold for just a second, on the elixir collectors...that smoke stack pipe, why is it there? Why is it throwing out perfectly good elixir? And for that matter since when did elixir not only have a liquid state but a gas state?
