The idea behind this is to have the game understand what the weather of your current location is like, and make that what the "in-game" weather looks like. It may not be easy to incorporate, but it would be cool to know that your village is having the same forecast as you are. Maybe on the regular base screen but while I'm raiding I wouldn't want these distractions and as you said it might be very time consuming to implement when they could be using that time to add more meaningful gameplay elements

there's no really no point of doing this except for the "feel"
it's also quite inefficient to code JUST for the aesthetics (also near impossible)
