What about a type of storage where one would be able to train a troop(s) then place them in such storage bunker for later use or donation. While in the bunker they are safe from attackers but also cannot defend. It would be used as simply a storage. The troop(s) slot number (ex. Barbarian= 1/ wizard= 4/etc.) would be deducted from the army camp and added to the bunker slots. The bunker could then be upgraded to hold a larger number of slots much like the clan castle's slot system.
I don't know if that is needed, or if it can be used as a buffer to hold troops for attacking later (which is kind of 'broke'), but it would be nice if I had a way to hold troops for donations, so I can make different kinds of troops for different reasons. I don't always have an army with troops people want, and that could help with that.
Then again, I already donate a lot as it is (still asking people in clan to start giving as well), so apparently I'm doing just fine without it. Got 4,000+ units donated last season... and really shouldn't have, but was the only real 'Johny on the Spot' person with troops and Elixir to fund all of those donations.
So the signature phrase of Generous Donator is quite fitting, given a good number of those thousands of housing units given were, of course, dragons.

This idea is almost exactly what I came here to post. I don't know about the "later use" aspect you wrote of, but it would be very beneficial to be able to cook up some troops just for donating purposes without having to use or delete the troops you already have cooked. Along with "Troops" and "Clan Castle Troops", there could be a "Troops To Be Donated".
As far as I know, Troops in Army Camps are safe from attackers and do not defend. I just don't see the benefits of reducing your own Army Camp size by locking some Troops in a bunker...Originally Posted by Natethegreat05

This would be a seperate storage from Clan Castle and Army Camp troop storages. If you want to donate someone some troops that you do not have, you must either use or delete the ones you have. Also this would prevent the massave wait time to cook nicer troops just for donations. I believe this would inspire greater troop donations.
Armies in your army camp are safe from attackers anyway...
