More than one base?!

There are a lot of people that have multiple accounts already. I have two. I have my main base and my baby base to keep me occupied when I'm bored. Most of the people I play with irl have two bases or want two bases, not because they want to stop on their big base, but because they want a reason to be playing all the time. The fast place nature of low levels is what gets people addicted to the game... so another account would be another way to keep long-term players on.

This is exactly what I mean. So Supercell investing a little time and effort into opening this option up to all players must be worth their while?!

Another benefit would be the ability for clans to become stronger. Large clans in my view can often get pretty impersonal with lots of churn. Having peoples second bases in the same clan would mean you could fill a clan with just 25 people.

Rather than creating multiple accounts - why don't supercell not just 'enable' a feature in game that allows you to own 2 bases. This way it would be a add to the game rather than a work around!

The risk with this is that people use those accounts to give themselves easy shields - particularly further up into Champions League. Some guy had lots of devices doing exactly that to get himself to the number 1 spot for ages. To enable it natively within the game would make the problem more widespread I'd suggest, and therefore unlikely to be progressed.

While it is NO LONGER against the TOS, it still is not encouraged to have multiple accounts on the same device. Multiple devices, they've never really cared even if they could stop it.

However, they also make note that they can and will refuse to offer customer service for problems resulting of having two accounts or more on a single device. You do so at your own risk.

If they don't want to offer customer support, they surely wouldn't want to legitimize the act!

If I remember right the TOS states one account per device. Apple devices enforce this pretty well but it is very easy to make multiple google play accounts and link them all to a single android device, then switch between them.

They changed the TOS to allow it.

What are you talking about? I'm 100% Apple, and I switch frequently between three accounts.
