Am I ready for TH9?

My base stats:

Cannons: level 10
Archer Towers: level 10
Tesla's: level 6
Wizard Towers: level 6
Mortars: level 6

Giant Bombs: level 3
Small Bombs: level 4
Air Bombs: level 3
Seeking air bomb: level 1

All other buildings are at their max level too for TH8

Troop Upgrades:

All elixir troops at their max level for TH8,
Dark troops I have:

Hogs: level 2
Minions: level 2
Golem and Valkery: level 1

BK is level 10

My walls are 55 level 8, all the others level 7 walls

I say go if you're currently attacking & defending well against TownHall 9's anyway - Sometimes being stuck on one Town Hall can get boring waiting on it to fully finish. However the downside is no more Townhall 7's to feast on & You officially have become lunch meat to the TownHall 10's - but by now you should be used to being attacked by higher lvl. players & it shouldnt bother you as much.

I would say stay and max your walls till you have 150 walls. And in this time work more on your hogs. When you get 150 walls lvl 8 upgrade your townhall. During 10 days you finish most even is some remain they will be easy to finish when you get to townhall 9. That is my way and I can tell you it gave me advantage at each townhall level I get to since th7

Seems like you have maxed all defensive building, traps, BK and elixir troops and that's good!
But it'll be wiser to max other necessary dark troops such as min and hogs. Some people also max their golemn too.
At the end of last year, I moved up to TH9 after maxing all defensive building, traps, necessary troops like BAMWHogsHealerLoon, BK and walls. Working harder at the stage of TH8 will be better than working it out on TH9 since the task on TH9 will feel like another forever.

I don't think it's possible to definitively advise you to go or not, as I think it very much depends on your personal circumstances.

If you are likely to use DE troops at some point, then its probably worth getting them upgraded now. Catching up after moving up a TH is always harder to do because your priorities change after a TH upgrade and those same troops still need upgrading to even higher levels.

No matter which level you are at/go to, there is always going to be a grind for walls and maxed troops. If you have time to raid, maybe the better time to raid is now?

If you have classmates who would benefit from your TH9 elixir troops, then it's worth upgrading sooner.

If you are bored and/or want more of a challenge, then go for TH9.

its way easier to farm dark elixer at th9, if you have sleeping builders, go for it. i rushed halfway through th8 to th9 for the troops. dont regret it one bit. you're gonna get owned by th9s at th8 anyways, might as well be a th9 then.

Spend 2-3 weeks getting those wall sorted and then upgrade.

You will have plenty of time to max your lab while youre grinding walls and heros at TH9.

I'd say that u upgrade ur minions to 3, then when they are done to 3, put THupgrade and minions lvl4 together . Otherwise u r ready

Don't listen to people saying stay. Upgrade TH and promise yourself to spend the gold on finishing skulls and the elix you get spend it on army camps, lab, sf etc.

Why don't you wanna stay at TH8?
You still have 100+ walls to build and that's more than 50.000.000 gold.
While looting that amount you'll also be gaining elixir, but have nothing to spend it on. So that's maybe 30-50.000.000 elixir WASTED imo, as you'll not have any loot problems at TH9.
