For clash of clans there are very few events that go through a certain time and have a leaderboard, other than the Clans competition, which mainly involves 30-150 people participating in receiving gems. If mastermind's quest idea is involved, this would mean there is something different to do for clashers. But what if there was a feature where over a 2 day period, 2 clans in a war are randomly selected. When you log in, you will be prompted to choose a side. Each side will have different rewards if you pick them and win. There will be a live scoreboard you can check at any time and each clan has different perks of they win. Every time you raid and get a star, it goes towards your individual tally of stars. There will be ranks, e.g. The person with enough stars to be in the highest group will receive the highest reward. Each group (e.g. 1-5, 6-100, 101-500) will receive a better reward. The reward you ultimately receive depends on who wins the war.
IMPORTANT: Your final score is multiplied depending on the league you finish in. Meaning going down and 3 starring town halls lower will not be effective.
REWARDS: There will be elixir, gold and dark elixir storages filled by a certain amount depending on where they come. One other is a special badge. There will be a limited clan badge for each war, meaning there are special prizes to play for. Also special limited decorations, however you can only have 5 special decorations on your base along with the normal ones to prevent having to place troops/clan castle on the very edge while attacking.
Example:
Mega Empire vs Ice Ice Baby. Ice ice baby currently have a reward in elixir and gold mine boosts. The amounts purely depend on where you came in the leaderboard. On Mega Empire's side however, you receive gold and a dark elixir drill boost. Mega empire lose the war 100-94. This means everyone gets the reward from Ice Ice Baby's side, so they will receive elixir depending on where they came in the ranks and a boost, the time depending on where they came.
This is a bonus for people being very active and raiding a lot. It will also encourage trophy pushing to be high on the leaderboards. Also it gives limited time rewards.
