Not ignorant at all, just don't see it as being a issue needing "fixed". These zap raid complaint threads have been going on for two years at least now and yet some of us have found a way to play without worrying about a zap now and then. This horse has been beat to death.

If you want to revenge me, be my guest. 90% of the time if you find my base, you will see 2k5 DE loot, and if you are lucky, 350k Gold & 350k Elixir. Heck yeah, I', sitting with 190k DE in my storage right now. oh, I even trap my TH so I won't get shield too often Good luck taking that loot

You are lucky you haven't zap'd my base. Like many other users, I raided 2500 DE from max TH9 or 3000 DE from weak-to-mid TH10 all the time. Go to higher leagues and zap DE there.

No one will zap your DE and you will have so much DE that you can't spend so you wouldn't post on forums about people zapping.

I just maxed my de storage immediately after I got to th9.
I don't revenge much since those noobs are poor and always have shield.
Revenge button is just a decoration to me..

there are just 2 things you can do... get angry or enjoy.... I choose to enjoy cauz if I am angry I would prefer uninstalling the game... games are to be enjoyed... there are too many features that we ignore..10k de in a day is as easy as 3 staring a th2 now with th7 having a drill and th 8 have 2 of those..... look at the positives... flaws are always depressing...

I'm in Crystal II. It's not high, I know. But it's where I'm most comfortable. I didn't say I can't get revenge. It's that I don't really care if I get revenge. I made 40k-50k De/day, and 350k gold & 350k elixier will be make up in 2 raids. So, it's really doesn't matter to me even if you can 100% me.

Think about it, if I zap 10 guys, it would be a bad day if one of them can revenge me. Even with my TH traps, I get shield like instantly after I log off. So I almost never get revenge. And as I said above, even if I did, I don't really care. And to be honest, normal farming army hardly can touch my DE, if you don't have lv 20 and above heroes. I have max TH9 defense with mostly lava wall, lv 30 Queen and ALWAYS have troops in CC. I don't say farming army can get my DE, but it's hard, and most of the time people fail more than success. If you really really mad and build a strong army to attack my base, most likely I would have a shield by the time your finish your army

How do you guys try to use revenge?

I just break shield when I have an army ready, then go thru revenge list tapping each revenge button. Usually there's like 4 or so available, with moderate odds of finding a raidable base with really good loot. I smash that base and get 200k~300k gold/lix and 1000~2000 DE.

If there's nothing in revenge list, then I just search in regular matchmaking. Revenge is pretty much just an alternative to nexting for me.

I can see how futile it would feel if one was trying to revenge a specific player, but I don't see the point in that. Any target with loot is a good target.

Revenge is not enough. This problem needs to be fixed by Supercell asap.

Nothing needs to be fixed. That's what one gets for being in Gold III. I love how people choose to prey on weaker player to farm, but then complain about getting zapped. BooHoo. Perhaps supercell should have a box of tissues in the store. He's asking to be zapped at Gold III. Put your suspenders on and gitty up to a higher league. The higher you go the less likely to be zapped and the more rewarding the revenge as higher level players need to save up for more expensive upgrades.
