The point here is Supercell does not think about their game long term. The problem here is the company doesn't have a long term plan. Due to the fact that storages are maxed out, they push down the cost of previous upgrade to cater for new upgrades, which screws the older users. The company don't have a long term strategy meaning they care more about are new consumers, they don't plan to establish a customer loyalty. True, there will always be new consumers but as soon as they realize the scheme SC is committing. They will be out as fast as they came in. Truth.

Anyone thinking they are entiled to a refund and are unhappy supercell LOWERED resource requirements for things really need to think things over.

I am guessing you would of been happier if they added a extra level to storages or added another storage to INCREASE the cost of things. I mean seriously everyone was expecting 10 million or more for a level 4 xbox, supercell instead decided against this ridiculous progression and limited the costs.

Supercell should refund those who have their archer queen upgraded just hours before the update. They use their hard earn de (45000de accumulated not using gems) to finally do the upgrade, while the upgrade is still ongoing. Supercel decides to screw them over by reducing the cost to 22500 de. The archer queen level 2 upgrade is not even completed.

In short supercell should refund resources to those whose buildings or heroes that are still upgrading during the new update.

Sorry to inform you, if you have paid already that would mean you have officially entered a contract with the car company saying you will pay $30000 for the car. As much as you want to ask for a refund you have already committed to it. You can complain and as for a refund all you like however you are not entitled to a refund based on that alone. The company may do it on good will however that's a different discussion.

Much the same as when you upgraded your archer queen for 45k DE, when you pressed upgrade you have already committed to it. Anything past that point is done deal no going back unless you cancel which you received 1/2 your resources back as in the game's settings which you know. What ever they change past that point is beyond what you have initially agreed to when you upgraded.

So sorry your argument is not really valid either...but don't get me wrong I'm not saying it's fair especially if you are on the receiving end of it, but that's how things work in this world.

Yes I have been burnt by this as well in prior update, my minions was 3 days in already when they reduced the research time. So I pretty much lost 3 days lab time. So what happened? I sucked it up and moved on.

And to be honest, in the grand scheme of things losing that reduction in resource in upgrade out of the total billions of needed to max everything it is pretty immaterial... pretty much suck it up and carry on, life isn't always fair unfortunately.
