Should Clan War Donation's Count Towards War Loot?

Not sure if their is a similar thread to this one, however I was wondering if Anyone else thought it would be a good for when a Clan Member Donates troops to the War Clan Castle's, whether it should count towards War Loot. E.g If someone Donates a Dragon worth 30,000 Elixer, maybe it should be added to the War Loot.

Let me know what you think, just a thought, as Donating to heaps of Clan Members for War (Especially Leader's) can be costly in terms of Elixer and was wondering if anyone else thought maybe Donation expenses could count towards War Loot!

The donations are the investment to give your team the edge to win the war. Clan wars are not a substitute for farming, and it should never become one. Treat tougher bases with higher war loots as the goal of donating a troop to someone, and if they win b/c of it, you helped them gain stars and win a higher war loot. Same for donations you receive. They shouldn't have a risk-free way to get back your investment b/c then donating more expensive troops would be constantly occurring, instead of running a cost-benefit analysis and allocating resources wisely.

I don't understand your suggestion. You are suggesting something of the following:

- Everyone should get back the value of the donated troops. (Donations for clan war CC are free)
- Only winners get back the value of the donated troops. (Winners get the free donations, losers still pay)


Since the first makes absolutely no sense (free donations), i ll respond assuming you mean the second. It may be an incentive for people to donate expensive troops, but I think that it is already the case. You are arguing that donators also contribute to the clan's win (not only successful attackers), so they should be rewarded. It makes some sense but I don't think that it's something missing from the game right now.

Personally as a player who donates tons during each war. I find most wars are a huge waste of loot for the leaders or players with all the max troops. Consider this. First we have to fill clan castle during prep day which is usually max wiz max witches, lvl 6+ archers, few lvl 3+ Dragons. Depending on the clan, there might only be 3-4 members with those troops. And what do they get for the donations....zero. Just lost loot. But I know the argument will be the war cc troops help win the war....ok sure. Now to the war itself. Depending on what kind of attacks people are using and how strong the bases are in the opposite clan. Most clan members request max troops to attack with. Max Golem for war, max Pekka for war, lvl 5+ Wiz, max Balloons, etc. Since everyone attacks twice. It's pretty common the few in the clan with max troops lose a lot of loot; 3 mil elix and 20k dark elix all from just donations. And I didn't even mention the cost of both their own attacks which is usually another 800k. Yeah! We won the war! And I win between 800k to 1 mil elix back. Lol, and maybe 3k dark elix which doesn't even cover the golems used in my own attack.

SO! When this thread came out offering some kind of extra loot to replace the huge amounts of loot lost in donations for war. I say YES!!!! Anyone who votes against this is someone who doesn't do the donating in war. OH! And what if you lose the war. Spent 3 to 4 mil elix to win 200k. The more I talk about it. War is really way too expensive to be worth doing for loot. If you win the war, the game should keep up with those donating the most and try and give some of that back.

It should count because a. You are TECHINALLY donating troops to someones CC, and b. its costing elixir to make this troops for your teamates.

Unique idea, but no.
When you donate to a clanmate (non-war), you don't get the elixir back. Why should wars be any different?

+1. If you win the war you should win back what you donated in elixir and if you lose, maybe 50%.

War is different than regular donating cause players don't require max troops to raid. But usually you only have a handful of people doing all the donating of max troops. Basically, the leaders or max players of a clan (that isn't an all max clan) do all the donating for war and thus never come close to getting rewarded by a win. And sense there is no guarantee of a win. Monky the lower members benefit from war.

Clearly this shows a flaw to war. The leaders should get way more of a bonus that what is currently being offered

I always donate a ton to war, and would like more recognition for it.
That being said, it would tick me off if every clan castle was filled with giants.
