I think every other troop should be paid with gold for ex. Archer, Gob, wall breaker, wiz, drag - gold

I've never met a clasher that had a 'too much gold' problem. I think the game is well-balanced for gold/lix.

When getting close to maxing base I have way too much loot and I think it would even out this way

despite of all its balance, game has a plenty of elixir problem
i think its not a good idea
