I'd be astounded if your idea was not suggested at the least by a dozen people preceding you.

And if they wanted to give you gems (which they have no obligation to, you are "rewarded" for paying them money by gems, not by throwing a ten second idea out here) they would ask you. Your providing them with your info probably hurt your chances more than anything...
