Firebeards: An Elite, Warring, Christian Clan

No, Little Richard is not in our clan, but we are fresh off a good win and feel like singing a little bit. We beat Reddit active 75-62 in our most recent contest. This time, our normally dependable lower group had a tough time and stumbled a lot. The middle & upper crew came through and our defense put on quite a show.

Well, we just ended an undefeated week with a big victory over an Oriental clan, 79-56. 21 three-star attacks vs. 6; every clan member attacked vs. 12 attacks not taken and 8 defenses won.

Great job, clan.

With many opting out this war, we only warred with 25 and ran into a Vietnamese clan that was full of jailbreak attacks. It was simply miraculous to see all of the FIRST ATTACKS artfully navigating through traps, great bombs and assorted clan castle troops. I know some can be lucky, but no one is THAT lucky!

No excuses. No complaining. No hiding, we lost a war that we absolutely should have won. No question. It wasn't luck or using sandbox - we just attacked terribly. To lose 55-61 when warring with 25...that is unacceptable.

Taking a break over Easter weekend, will come back refreshed afterward with a strong compliment of attackers.

I pity the clan who meets us next!

This was an ugly war and an ugly win because of some ugly attacks. Defense got us through this war, not our offense, that's for sure! At any rate, we picked up another win vs. Old Folks Home 59-55. It sure looked like a bunch of geriatrics were battling, too! C'mon Clan Perk 4, can't be soon enough!

Another tie, who would've thought it? SLURM co and Firebeards tied in a 20 v 20 matchup, 47-47. Their last TH 10 dropped to one of our lowest TH 9's to 3-star it and secure a tie. No guts, no glory. I guess he didn't want to try for more stars on another 10.

Double Clan XP points, though.

Firebeards took on a Korean clan on Sunday nite into Monday, they jumped out to a very early lead by over 30 stars. However, they basically dropped 5 and couldn't pick up 3, and often even 2, stars. This put their lower attackers in a hole they could never get out of and we wound up winning 75-68.

ONE MORE WAR AND WE WILL BE A LEVEL 4 CLAN.

Firebeards handed a Chinese clan a loss tonite, 72-65. Again, this clan ran to an early lead, but Firebeards had total participation and some key 3-stars down the stretch.

Firebeards had a decisive win 75-64 against a Korean clan which had more TH 10's and more TH 9's than we did. As was the case with many other wars, the opposing clan staked an early lead, but too many of their TH 9's & 10's were ineffective - we had 12 total defenses won. Either our bases were stronger than they suspected or they were poor attackers...or maybe a combination of both.

Double XP again - a great start toward Level 5 Clan Perk!!
