After a few months of playing, we were fed up with a few continual problems:

• Hoppers - start a war and they would be gone, and immediately you are down 2, 4 or 6 attacks
• Immaturity - complaints about study hall, the plot of Twilight, what's going on at the mall, I'm too old for this nonsense
• Drama - "When can I be elder?" "What do I have to do to be a co-leader?" Good grief, it's just an app game, not a measurement of your social standing or worth as a person
• War Star Hogs - drop down to a lower TH just to say you always get 6 stars in war, but actually they cannot do well against their own TH level
• Selfishness - usually noticed in the first donation request from a TH 7 who demands max witches or max lava hounds ONLY; or the perpetual donation hog who only wants great stuff but will only donate archers in return

Oddly enough, we found a lot of other good people were fed up with this nonsense, too.

• We do not have any donation rules, everyone is encouraged to help each other and get lower TH people good troops so they can improve faster
• We start wars on MON & THU evenings (EST) so if someone cannot war, they can just opt out ahead of time. It helps a lot knowing when wars will be to fit into our little thing called LIFE
• We practice during the off days to improve our skills and learn new strategies
• We enjoy good-natured teasing and joking with each other - until it gets too serious and we cross the line into sports teams we root for
• Because we are a Christian clan, we are not ashamed to talk about the Bible, church or prayer in chat. You aren't required to participate, just keep the chat clean and don't reproach us for talking about our Saviour, Jesus Christ

Congrats to shaggybevo3 who beat Firebeards 58-55. They deserved the win, but we did not raid well, either. Too many mistakes - we won't let it happen again. We are mad & determined.

Just closed on our latest win, glad to get the foolish clashing out of our system! Goodbye to Casino Lao Cai, as they were dispatched quitq easily 60-34. Beautiful walls and high level troops don't mean much if you don't know how to use them.

Another great win for Firebeards, after quite a few close wars...and even one loss...in the past 10 wars, we were able to coast against the NEBRASKANS 64-40. Great defense and very consistent offense, way to go, Firebeards! Next war begins tonite.

What a great war we finished on Saturday night. We beat a Korean clan 68-60. It's not often that an opposing clan can hang 60 stars on us, we had the advantage on the number of 3-star attacks on them and too many high opponents needed to drop.

Looking forward to trying for win 64 tonite.
