Recently there was an event in which Drag and Barb training time was reduced by x5...
I think so there will be many more events in which "GoWiPe"s training time will also be reduced..
Why drag and barb specifially? We use those a lot arent we? If I were me, I say Valkyries and Pekka 5x decrease time! GOWIVA in Clan War

There are two pretty big and obvious reasons that this would be bad. And I'm not talking about bad for Supercell's gem sales. That's a given.
No, I mean bad for us, the players.
1. When training times are so low, the loot necessarily gets pretty scarce. Quick-building armies will clean out the loot from collectors (and storages) faster, but the production rate from collectors is the same, so it logically follows that the average raid will be smaller. This will reduce the size of the typical collector raid in particular.
2. If your armies train in a couple minutes instead of half an hour, players are more likely to session raid until you save up enough for an upgrade, then spend as much of your resources as possible before logging out. This will reduce the size of the typical storage raid in particular.
Put together, both collector and storage raid potential will decline considerably.
If you can train armies 5x faster and the loot per raid is 1/2 of normal, this is still in your favor, at least in low leagues where you're attacking players weaker than yourself. Barch is extremely cost-effective now, and would continue to be.
But in higher leagues, where the cost of your army is high, this will be bad. Loonion and GoWiXX are only cost-effective when the raiding potential is high, especially with a high league bonus. Take away the raid potential, and it will cripple high level play.
This only helps players farming at artificially low trophy ranges. In essence, it helps the wrong type of people.

But what if instead of training time, the UPGRADING TIME of our buildings are boosted? x3 or x5 as well? what do you think would happen?
it would work if it costs like 1k gems for perma 5X speed
