I am losing the gold that I wasted and time obviously. I heard when the nerf heros, they refunded people money that gemmed it . I'm wondering if they would do the same if u gemmed your walls ?

I don't think they did that... Plus its a nerf to balance the game not price reduction in that case.

I'd be against it if for some reason they're actually considering it. I'm only about 90/225 legos but I plan on maxing lavas and staying at th 9 for a long time. Walls and heroes are what separate serious, dedicated players from casual players and decreasing the wall prices will shrink the gap imo, at least defensively.
