Okay, so the update is going to be soon we all know that.
I have a friend in a pretty famous clan, lets just say it may or may not be the Clashtronauts sister clan, the ClashtroNOTs.
anyhow, a reputable source in that clan family has reportedly told him this:

In clan wars, the only way to attain a 1 star will be to destroy 33% of the base, 2 star 65% and 3 star will still be 100%
The reason for this is to stop free loot from town hall sniping.
