No-one is going to get the random letter diagram, but nice effort.

The question of witch in cc is relevant, just not explained that well.

The drags would have killed the witch very quickly, as it was attacking them, but could have very easily ignored the skeletons it produced, as they would have neither moved or attacked.

If your attacking clanmate then placed any ground troop (a hero for example), the skeletons would go for the hero, and drags would chase them.

This is the number 1 cause of noob drag war derailed attacks.

So, reconsidering that explanation, does that seem likely?

Nope. Also considering that this guy is the best drag attacker in the clan and that I've ever seen, not likely. We don't lose war generally because we attack better and plan better. So yeah he didn't make a noob mistake.
    Thanks icey for the sig!

The bold part, u are COMPLETELY WRONG ABOUT

Drags will NEVER IGNORE witches Skeletons, they ALWAYS get AGGRO by witches skeletons when in the skeletons range
There DOESNT need to be ground troops for the DRAGS to attack the witches skeletons.

The drags DO NOT LURE WITCHES SKELETONS, BUT witches skeletons can lure drags when they get in their range. THIS happens regardless if ground troops were paced or not

ok so the cc was not where the dragons went
but heres another question, was the king used?
it doesn't matter if he was dead or not at this point all that matters is if he was placed
skeletons summoned by witches wont chase the drags but they will chase a king no matter where he is if hes the only ground troop
even if he had died, they could have run toward him and stopped as soon as he died
also skeletons are small and hide behind some buildings, so you cant always see them

judging from what i read i guess this is what happened

No, it isn't near what happened. You're telling me the king died in between some untouched walls in an untouched part of the base? I dont think so.

no the king could have died near the edge of the base and the skeletons were just on their way there

did the dragons head to a point between where the king was and the cc?

The king wasn't on the other side of the base. I believe he was killed while clearing outer buildings in the part where the attack was initiated.
