Troop upgrades continue while your lab upgrades...

Saved me 5 days of downtime when I was upgrading to level 3 hogs just after reaching TH9 and starting level 7 lab construction. I made sure that I waited until I had a little less than 5 days remaining on the hogs before I started lab construction, and I was online when the lab finished construction (not sure if that matters).

If yours is doing something other than that, it could be a bug.

I think this only happens if the upgrade time left on the troop is less then the upgrade needed on the lab. For example if your troops have 4 days left on your upgrade and you start your lab upgrade and it is 5 days. Just speculation of course.

OP, are you certain the lab upgrade time wasn't deducted BEFORE you did the attack?

I gemmed the rest of my lab upgrade time which was only like 20 mins. Right when it got done it still had my hound 3 days left in its upgrade dropped my queen in a goblin map and when I go back it upgrade was finished.

Yeah they changed it in halloween update. Tfw they making it easier for newer players
