Will see manI balooning well. So I think that this will not be the problem for me. I can take out enough buildings for nearly 50% If not I will clean upwith my heroes,if this will not work I will zapp something to get 50 %

I pushed to masters but used loons from about 2500+ the bases completely change at 2500+ it was weird.
I pushed from 2000 cups to 2650 cups in 2 days using barch with only 3 barracks. Lvl 5 barb and lvl 4 archers.
I was pretty easy.
Getting higher than master 3 might be a problem, didn't try, just wanted the 1000 gems for the fifth builder

I'm a TH9 currently farming DE in C2 and C1. AQ is lvl25 BK is lvl22.
Gold/elixir gets dumped into walls (so far 3 lava, the rest are legos).
I use Balloonion as well and I can confirm that it gets tough around 2500 trophies.
I'm not sure what your friend told you about 4 lightning spells...but that sounds like a disaster.
I carry 1 rage, 2 heal, 1 lightning and I was able to maintain trophies and farm in M3.
However, getting into M2 was extremely tough. Mind you, I didn't carry a lava hound or anything else in my cc for farming, I only used my cc for defense.

I tested this today. I was using LavaLonion.
First time: 25 minis, 2 LH's, 22 loons + 6 loons in my clan castle. Spells: 3 rage/1 heal
Attacked maxed TH9, heroes 10/12, easy 3 stars
Second time: 25 minis, 2 LH's, 22 loons + 6 loons in my clan castle. Spells: 4 zapps
Attacked nearly maxed TH9, heroes 15/15, 2 stars - 58 %
I didn't lure Clan Castle, I never did, since my friend show me how to do this thing right. The friend which told me or better ˝suggest me˝ to carry 4 zapps.
I want to say that with lavaloonion it's not hard to beat TH9 on 2 stars with 4 zapps. But is a lot harder to make 3 stars.
Above 2600 I expect 90/100 TH10's I will prepare myself to do my best. Definitly I will try tommorrow attack TH10 with 4 zapps and will see if I can make 2 stars or more.
The point is, that I never used spells for my farming. I only use spells for wars, I using baloonion since I'm TH6 in wars. When I'm testing my limits for wars, I simply do 5-10 attacks with baloonion ( LavaLoonion ).
And I don't know why everybody say that it's everything different from master3 +. I will play in long sessions, under boost most of time.
Anyway it's a game, it's all about fun and I'm enjoying in testing different army compositions

Well I wish you luck, I was just sharing my struggles of pushing. I find it very interesting that your pushing with your TH outside still, that would mean you plan on 2 and 3 staring people, not just 50% for the loot bonus?
