5 days cooldown means that you have to wait 5 days before you can buy the same one day shield again.Originally Posted by Divide

It just means you have to wait 5 days before you can buy the 1 day shield again
Cool down is 5 days till you can buy another shield. This is limited with a cool down so players cant hide behind a shield the whole game.

When the 1-day shield will run out, you'll be cool for 5 days and your troops will be cool too
Unless you buy a new shield, they you'll not be cool.
