this is not about how balloon minions and lava hounds are over powered so if you want to talk about that there are oh I don't know a billion other threads to go rant in

this thread is about helping some one learn the art of doing it

I am a near max th 9... no I am not going to th 10 for at least 2 more months

I got my hounds today (level 1) and already have max balloons and level 5 minions

you guys show your 3 and 2 star attacks on you tube which is helpful but that's all you guys show, you never say it took you (insert number here) try's before you got it to work right

well I cant do it right on the first time or the 2nd ,I know this about myself and before I get discouraged with the attack, I ask you this question


how many times did you have to practice before you started to get it right?


did you lose a lot of resources while practicing?
how did you practice it ? 1 per day ? 5 times a day?
got any suggestions?

just needing a little help ... I want to go for the big time loot ,,, before I go back to my old way of just stabbing at some of the goodies because I lose hope in this attack

I practiced quite a bit. maybe 3-4 times a day and sometimes in war.... just look up tutorials for lavaloonion.

I have watched the videos,, and they help me understand the order I should do things and what to look at on the bases,,, but I still need practice getting the skill from my head to my hand to the phone,,

Agreed, I would practice in regular multiplayer matches first, before trying it war.

You can next into a base that easy or down some defenses to start and then find progressively more difficult ones until you feel comfortable with it.

We have an elder that is going to try Lavaloonion for the first time in war tomorrow;he's practiced raiding with it for about a week. He showed all his replays, first few were a failure, but he got proficient at it very quickly.

Try lavaloonion or loonion a few times a day atleast. Maybe start with just loonion then go to lavaloonion. Make placement well also. If you can try to funnel your loons to the enemy xbow(if set to air) or infernos. Place minions after to clean up and once they clean up the sides throw some in to get to the middle for destroying the town hall.

Im a maxed th10 and I don't see the point. The troops take ages to build and require spells also.
anyone that attacks me with this combo only ever goes for my dè. Which could be gotten with troops far quicker to build and no spells.
This isn't helping just giving my advice lol
this is the only troop combo i do not use. The building time and costs dont ever seem to be worth it for me. But lucky everyone is different I guess.
good luck in learning though. It is handy to know how to use all combos.

Lavaloonion is the best method of attacking right now of course you should bother!!
