The ban is temporary for first time bans. Usually 24-48hrs. They are actively banning the leader and co's for offensive clan info descriptions because any of you have the power to have written it. You'll just have to sit it out there's no way around it.
Licensed agreement is what you can use CoC for, such as promotional, advertising, etc.
private policy is what they use whatever information the gather, for whatever reasons outlined.
terms of service is your end of the contract that states what you can and can not do when playing their game. In the terms of service they do in fact include a part stating they reserve the right to terminate any account for any reason. So no you have no legal case on this. Offensive clan description is a breach of the ToS, particularly under the license limitations section which says " you will not engage in any act supercell deems in conflict with the spirit or intent of the service (the game).
further more you have no argue end as you have agreed to these terms by downloading the game. They wont perma ban you for a clan description but just hope your clan has learned not to feed the sensitive people looking for easy war wins

To be fair its entirely possible that he doesn't know what was said in the description or the exact details of what happened...
I only check my clan description once or twice a day...of course I fully trust my co's to not put anything stupid in it even if they do change it!
But threads like these remind me why I won't give CO out to just anyone!
It doesn't matter. They all have the ability to have written it and are all banned regardless.
I don't think I've ever played a game where other people can get you banned for no reason??
You can join a clan… get promoted to co and banned all in the time you were logged off
Oops sorry I wasn't trying to suggest the ban is unjust. My reply was aimed at the post implying that the OP was guilty of taking part in the abusive clan description. ....hhe may only be guilty of failing to manage his clan description and/or his clans leadership.
Yep. These topics pop up every week now with the same kind of frustrated players and responses. If you're in a clan that has people writing offensive clan descriptions and you're one of the co leaders you are all responsible for each others actions. Pull them in line or face the consequences... SC have zero tolerance for offensive behaviour in their game.
