    So I agree they're a very frustrating thing, and I'd have preferred they never existed, but that's the way it is and we have to adapt as best we can. CC troops do the same thing too unfortunately, albeit more predictably since you see the CC beforehand. Troop AIs have never been... umm... ideal, and probably never will be.
    So true Zach. One time, I was using Balloons, and I didn't lure CC. The balloons completely ignored the wizards, and 6 seconds later, I had no Balloons. This also happens with giants. I get that they target defenses, but when they are attacking them, why don't they try to defend themselves? AI will never be perfect.

    lol ya, looks like the skeleton troop in general has got alot of problems and issues that need to be addressed

    It's not about nerfing skeleton traps, it's about fixing broken aggro radius.

    Oh ok now I get it, and yes I agree that you have to adapt I mean this might or might not be changed and meanwhile I have to cope with it, but it's still annoying and if there's a way in which I can do something to improve the game (i. e. Discussing ideas here) I will do so

    Yup, totally agree. Yoyobaue seems to have stated the issue perfectly, and I'd agree with his/her suggestion of adjusting these radiuses downwards. I'm sure there will be more suggestions coming too...

    How much does this actually happen?


    Obviously this happens but I am curious because I have not experienced this. Perhaps its just layout but I haven't seen my troops travel across the map to get skeletons.

    Is it because the troops are in triggering radius, but behind so many walls?

    What causes this AI ... glitch?

    It's somewhat random even. When it happens not all units within the radius are aggroed. Might even be buggy behavior.

    Don't mean to be hater here at all. But I doubt this will make much of a ripple on the SC 'needs fixed' radar.

    Hero AI is wonky and has been forever. Xbows have been waiting months for a "fix". And these pesky skellie traps have been scrapping raids since October. Doubt the aggro radius will be addresses anytime soon.

    Totally agree that it needs some adjustment to the range in which all troops in a half base radius will say "Ah hell! Skellies on the horizon we better go get them!!!" then bail on an otherwise solid attack.

    Frustrating in the extreme.
