    Skeleton traps are far beyond ridiculous

    Ok so I was watching a replay of a defense in our current CW. He got only 1 star
    EDIT: I WAS NOT THE ATTACKER. The attacker is from the opponent clan. It's a defense replay from our clan.

    It goes like this:

    A very "solid" attack at the beginning, he chose not to lure CC troops



    Anyways then a skeleton trap pops outside the base...


    And heroes and some troops show their brilliant decision of abandoning the core of the base and go for a few skeletons that are like really far away!


    Then you can guess the result, with the current PEKKA and BK AI they all went merry go round the base.

    Edit: Yoyobaue issued the problem perfectly, such a big aggro radius should be reduced.

    I know the purpose of skeletons is to deviate troops, but this is excessive.
    This was a defense and I'm fine with it, but as an attacker I can suffer the same thing so I think this should be fixed, maybe create an attraction radius where only a few troops can deviate, or either make the troops stick to go into the core.

    You didn't clear and just spammed from one point without even spreading troops

    It's happened to me before. Perfect Gowipe along one side, one corner a skel trap triggers and the heroes going to centre run a marathon all the way to the corner to help kill 4 skeletons. It's part of the game! Great when it's your base on defence so it works both ways... they can mean all the difference between winning and losing at high cups also, i've had many wins after AQ stops shooting town hall and goes for skeletons instead.

    This++ There was no guarantee your troops weren't going to derp around the base anyway with or without those skeles. This is why 3 gollem gowipe is popular. Spread them out fairly, wizards behind to clear the way, then drill into the center and beat their pants off.

    Skeles aren't OP, this guy is just smarter than you.

    This is why I have shifted back from GoWiWiPe to GoWiWi attacks as it is not distracted by Skeleton Traps.

    Why everytime an attack doesnt go right ppl start posting there needs to be a change to this or that. Skeleton Traps are one of the easiest defenses to deal with. Step ya game up.

    I'd have to agree. IMHO you should never bunch up golems on any golem based raid. Spread them out and spread your wizards out to clear most of the area. You'll trigger and clear traps as well.

    all golems on 1 spot, didnt funnel with wizards, didnt lure, and you expect to win? ♥♥♥♥ learn to attack

    And it's clear you didn't even read it completely. I literally started my thread as "I was watching a defense replay" I didn't commit the mistakes you mentioned, the attacker of the other clan did.

    I know but don't you think it doesn't make sense that troops that are completely inside the base turn around and go outside neglecting the entire purpose of the attack? Seems excessive to me. Skellies shouldn't attract troops that are really far away of them!
