    EDIT: Wow, finally we got this! Supercell has found a way to make this idea balanced and not overpowered! So, soon it will be no more necessary to discuss this thread, and it will fall at the bottom, as now we have this feature implemented in the game! I'm so happy, I'm looking forward to getting this update!

    Hi everyone!
    This thread is quite LONNGG, and I will cover every point of the idea in a very detailed way. I hope you’ll take the time to read it all, because I have spent so much thinking and making it! I have tried to make some images, and I’m looking forward to adding them to the thread, but unfortunately I’m not so good doing photoshop as Mastermind :eek:

    Introducing Clan Levels
    So, how you can understand from the title, this thread is about Clan Levels.
    But what are they?
    Clan Levels are levels that EVERY clan is able to achieve with the purpose of unlocking bonuses; higher is the level, more powerful the bonus/prizes will be!
    The level of your clan is shown in the clan profile on the bottom right of the clan’s shield, and as appearance, will look quite similar to your Xp level.Your clan’s level will be visible also in global chat, as everyone will see the strength of your clan!

    How to reach the levels
    I used to think that Clan Levels were reached basing on your clan’s points (the trophies of your clan), but this would have advantaged just big and already powerful clans; so, every clan must start with the same level, as this is equal, for everyone. Therefore, levels will be reached getting Clan Xp, which are earned mainly with Clan Wars, multiplayer attacks and donations. Beware that Clan Xp are completely different to player’s Xp (the ones you get upgrading buildings, clearing trees, etc.), which will not influence the Clan Xp calculation. You will be able to access to your Clan Level tab by pressing the new "Clan Level" button added in your clan interface: here you will se the total Clan Xp count and all the already achieved/still to achieve bonus and prizes with the required Xps to unlock them.

    All the following values are a quite balanced idea, but they can be changed, so if you have better ones, write them in the comments!

    About Clan Wars,
    - Winning a Clan War will result in 1000 Clan Xp
    - Having a tie will result in 250 Clan Xp
    - Losing a Clan War will result 100 Clan Xp (even the losers deserve a small prize)

    About multiplayer attacks, every member of a clan will be able to earn Clan Xp winning multiplayer attacks; when an attack is won (it isn't important if the attack has been won with 1, 2 or 3 stars), the Xps earned will be added immediately to your total Clan Xp count. As you know, winning an attack in Champion League is much more difficult and requires more time for training troops/spells than in Bronze League; so, the rewards must be different too! Also, the reward is different if you got 1, 2 or 3 stars, because a 100% GoWiPe raid must be rewarded more than a 2% Town Hall sniping attack.

    As I said before, there is also a reward for Donations, 1 Clan Xp every 100 troops donated (this work as the normal donation, so Barbarian=1, Giant=5, Minion=2, PEKKA=25, and so on); so, every 100 troops donated by any clan member, 1 Clan Xp will be added immediately to your total Clan Xp count. The troops donated in Clan Wars are not considered in the donation count (as it is now). (I decided not to make 1 troop donated = 1 Clan Xp in order to prevent big donator clans to reach the last level in just one season).

    Levels and Bonuses
    Every level requires a defined amount of Clan Xp (see the table below), and for every level reached, ALL the members of the clan will unlock a bonus.
    The bonuses are divided in 4 categories:
    - Resource bonus: this bonus will increase the resources won after an attack; the bonus will effect only multiplayer attack loot, and not the league bonus, and the single player / war loot
    - Attack bonus: this bonus will increase the damage per second of all your troops, including heroes
    - Health bonus: this bonus will increase the health points of all your buildings, including town hall, walls, and heroes
    - Special items: special decorations/unlockable and editable clan badges to show your clan’s strength!

    FedeX333X’s rules of bonuses
    - All the bonuses unlocked are linked only to the clan, so if you leave or you are kicked from it, you will lose all the bonus benefits; however, after entering in a clan, you will be able to take advantage of all the bonuses unlocked by that clan.
    - All the bonus percentages will be applied with an approximation of +/- 1 (e.g. for a barbarian level 6 with 26 DPS and an Attack bonus of 10%, the DPS becomes 28,6 so 29)
    - About heroes, the Attack bonus is active only during attacks (so not when they are defending your base), and for the same reason, the Health bonus is active only when they are defending your own base (so not when you are attacking)
    - The bonuses are not applied in any case during both attacking and defending in clan wars. This is because clan wars must be won with strategy and clan members coordination; if the bonuses were applied also during clan wars, the matchmaking system would have to consider also your clan level.

    18 77 500 7% Health Bonus
    19 86 500 7% Attack Bonus
    20 96 000 Special Item (I still don't have good ideas about that,
    could be e.g. a special decoration, golden clan name,
    editable clan badges, like in Boom Beach)
    21 106 000 15% Resource Bonus
    22 116 500 8% Health Bonus
    23 127 500 8% Attack Bonus
    24 139 000 10% Health Bonus
    25 150 000 10% Attack Bonus

    Every clan will start at level 0, with any bonus unlocked. When your clan reaches a new level, the total Clan Xp count will go down again to 0, and you will start gaining Xps for the next level (this means that when you reach level 1, your Clan Xps will go down to 0, and to reach level 2 you will need 1500 Xps, not 1500-1000=500). Also, when your clan reaches a new level, all the members of the clan will receive a message like that: "Your clan has just reached level ... ! Check out your reward in the Clan Level tab!"

    Reasons to implement this idea
    I think this idea is really cool, and it has many positive sides that should encourage to implement it!
    More importance to clans
    This idea will definitely make clans much more important: in fact, Clash of Clans is a social game and the clan should be one of the main part of the game! As it is now, clans are important, yes, but not so much as they should be.
    A solution to the loot problem
    The Resource Bonus, will increase the % resources won in multiplayer attacks, so this will help to reduce the huge loot problem which is now affecting many of the high level Town Hall players. Also, happier players means more money for Supercell!
    Adding another aspect to the game
    I heard lots of people on these forums saying that the game is becoming boring, and that they are fed up with updates in which are added only new level for troops and buildings that can be purchased only by high and almost maxed out level players. This will surely give to the game another amazing aspect, that will be available for everyone!

    I'll be very glad to receive opinions and suggestions to improve this thread, and ask me in the comments if you didn't understand or you need clarify something! Do not hesitate to criticize me too, because is with critics that you can build better ideas and understand what are the wrong points in someone's thought!
    As I said at the beginning, I'm working really hard to create the images, that will make this thread much better, but unfortunately it is not so easy , and I will add them as soon as possible!:eek:

    The only boost that im a fan of out of the three is the resource boost.

    Otherwise, great idea

    Cool idea, though the attack/health bonus puts too much dependency on clans

    Of course its called clash of clans, but it shouldn't be entirely obsolete for players to make due without one.

    The resource bonus and decorations are neat, though.

    Really like this idea, but I think that the bonuses are overpowered. I think that a bonus should only increase by 1% every three levels, but rotating IE
    Level 1= Attack 1%
    Level 2= Health 1%
    Level 3= Loot 1%
    And so on.
    And any special level would just take away from the cycle.

    I had a look at them, and I slightly lowered the percentages. About the order, I put the loot bonus first because it is the most wonted by low and middle level players; instead, the attack and health ones are more useful for maxed out players, so I think they should be put after the loot one

    Nice idea. Very similar to the guild levels in WoW.

    The attack bonus is OP though, should be cut in third and the health bonus cut in half.

    Clan exp should deteriorate though like it does in Boom Beach so a clan can't rush to 25 and then sit. Maybe have the clan lose 1% of it's exp per day so to achieve higher levels they have to remain active.

    You can then reduce the exponential growth in the exp requirements.

    A clan that is in constant wars, and wins every one will earn 3000 exp every week from wars and maybe another 1000 from farming and donations. If they lose roughly 10% per week due to decay then the highest exp they can have is 40,000 so make 30 levels, worth 1000 exp each.

    Would encourage clans to go to war for the exp so we'd see a ton of bad clans in clan wars and would make for a lot of easy wins for the good clans.
