Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't your boosted stuff pause when you get kicked off? Or is that maintenance break only? And BTW, you don't even get kicked off for that long, not even 10 minutes. It's ok *pats JPWizardBoss on the back*.

You are wrong. It is maintenance break only. I suggested the pause for "personal breaks" too and their support team "said" they forwarded my request to their developers.
Also, the one time I got kicked off I had boosted all 4 barracks, king, queen and spell factory. 70 gems!
I was trying to get enough gold for my upgrade before bed and when I was 50k away I got the message that I was about to be kicked off.
i had 10 minutes left on my boosts and the game wouldn't allow me to search for one last opponent because it was within 5 minutes of me being booted.
Long story short, I got kicked, raided for 350k/350k and my boost was gone by the time I could log back in.
I was ♥♥♥♥♥♥. No time to do another couple raids without any boost or I would be tired for work the next day so I just went to bed with an idle worker and shield...
I had a builder idle for the next 16 hours which I hate. If the boost was paused I could have probably fit in 2-3 more attacks and recouped that 350k gold plus the 50k I needed for my upgrade and had no idle builder.
I think pausing boosts during these breaks needs to happen or there should be a warning that you are within two hours of your mandatory break before you use your gems on a boost.
On average 70 gems takes almost 12 days to collect from obstacles....
If it wasn't for the forced timeout there would be some people who would probably never get attacked. Everyone's th in this game should have the ability to be attacked and yours is no difference.
If you've been playing for 6 hours I think it's safe to say you should have massed enough loot to make up for any losses from an attack within that small window. Hope it was me that attacked you and stole alot.
Well, might of read what the game features are and what to look out for, but of course, who would do that?
Maybe in future you should take 1 minute breaks every 3 hours which will reset the time?
That will not work. D/cing for one minute doesn't count, I think there's a certain value where the timer actually resets to zero (it's at least 5).

I did it once while farming my walls at TH8, I downloaded ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and set a timer to 4:45 min, every time it peeps, I click with my mouse, and study in those 4:45 minutes, I did set another timer to remind me when my troops get rdy, and that's why I need super cell to implement a pop sound (just like the heroes when they get healed up) to when ur troops get rdy.
I did it once, and got 12M within like 6 hrs (I don't really remember).
It was without boosting, but I'd never do that again. Not worth it.
