Gold grab for max th10, no gemming

1 billion gg on th9? So you get raided a lot?

Once you finish lavas at TH 9 your GG will inevitably reach 1 billion. Just upgrading legos and lavas by themself cost 1 billion total if you use all gold for upgrading them.

250 legos at 1 million a piece (250,000)
+250 lavas at 3 million a piece (750,000)
= 1 billion total loot (not necessarily all gold, but hopefully you get my point)

Then when you add in all of the other building upgrades it can easily get you to 1 billion gold grab at TH9.

As for the league bonus...that could just as well be th snipes, which bring no experience to the player. The thing is, there are a lot of clans talking smack, thinking highly of themselves. If there is no way of knowing how much experience they actually have (since you can't look at their base or stats), there is no way of knowing how much respect they deserve.

Well, you only speak, with gold grab, about the gold the player has stolen in other players bases.

You have to keep in mind his own production, which is not nothing (180millions/year)....
I can recognize it may balance with the gold he lost during his defense, but it depend of his style (farm/rush)

But i think you have to be around 1 Billion gold grab to have full lego walls (and defenses maxed, town hall 10)

GG is not actually that accurate for seeing if someone is a gemmer or not, unless it is catastrophically low.

Someone with a GG 2-300m less than someone else who is at the same kind of stage, can be explained by a number of things.

- playing longer, living off mines and collectors as well as raiding
- playing longer, as in before they had profiles and GG was capped at 100m
- league bonus does not count towards your GG
- war bonus does not count towards your GG

probably a couple more reason other than gemming.

at the end of th day, who really gives a ♥♥♥♥ lol. If someone gems, there is a reason for it, which you may not agree with. But it is their game and they can play it whatever way they want. With money or time.

The problems occurs when you have to decide how much skill and knowledge of the game someone has. Especially if they think very highly of themselves.

if you really want to know if someone gemmed or not look at a few different stats.

if all of these are quite low then they have probably gemmed.

cant state wether someone has gemmed or not just based on gg alone!

I agree. And just because someone spent $1000 doesn't mean they can only barch.

However, if you have two unknown players infront of you...and they both have the same base. One is a gemmer and the other is not. Which one would you regard as more skilled and accept into your clan?

Not at all. I know players who have spent their whole time in CoC barching gold leagues. They can barely get 2 stars on TH9s in wars. If you want to decide how much skill someone has, watch their war attacks. Ask them about their plan, watch their execution. A high GG just means activity and dedication, not skill.
