Maxed out TH8 working on upgrades, working my way up there now as well to try it out. Nothing else to do in game. If the farming is good I'll blow through Elixir like a fat kid on cake.

I most commonly farm in Crystal and it's decent.

Dropped to Gold I to try it out, where I think the loot is possibly slightly better; however you next more for it with less league bonus defeating the purpose.

I'm going to get back into Crystal when I play later.

Th9 here. Been farming on Gold 3-2 lately and all I can say is that the loot is really terrible. Had to do 100k worth of nexts just to find a 150/150k. Even storage raids are bad. Been thinking of going up to Crystal 3 but Im afriad Ill get trashed by sone higher levels there.

Hey try at Gold 1... i get around 1m gold and elixir a day and i only play for like 30 minutes a day due to school.

As a town hall 10 I might not be able to tell you exactly how the defenses are going to be for you town hall 9's and 8's but as long as you put your town hall on the outside and you don't have maxed storages you will get sniped most of the time.

For me, farming in the crystal league is nothing like farming in gold since the loot simply isn't as good as it was down there. I am fine with 100k since the loot bonus will give me an additional 50k. It's up to you but if I was not a town hall 10 I would farm in gold 2 league.

Spent the afternoon in the high 2100s (C2 badge). It was horrendous. I pretty much just 50%'d ppl for the loot bonus.

0 collector raids to be found (I may have come across 4 in the course of 4 hours.)

Yep, Gold is not a good place for TH10 unless you want to hit next a lot.

I'm getting the hell out of there! Haven't been in Gold for a while so just wanted to test the waters again.

The current Barb & Dragon boost event isn't helping loot. As more people can attack more quickly, and those with elixir are burning it on Dragons.

As fun as events can be, it does loot no favours.

I farmed to max TH9 defences, full lego and 40 lavas in G2 where loot is AMAZING. I am now focusing on heroes so I am slowly moving up leagues. I am currently in C3, loot is horrendous. By that I mean I am actually losing gold and elixir at some points.
