Wats the most stupid rule in ur clan? Kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off

Hi , I'm a th 9 player .
I was in a few American and Canadian clans recently. Had some awesome wars.
But a few clans drove me nuts . They have a rule called attack ur own number in war.
To be honest I thought it was a pretty neat rule until I found some problems with this dumb rule.
i was top three in my clan , our top three were all th9 and their top3 were all th10s with two multi targeting inferno tower. We had to follow this rule or get kicked, so we had to attack them and I got one star by getting 50%. But the other two got 0 star. Not mentioning this stupid match up here... Few of guys got kicked because they attacked wrong target. I was talking about this rule in chat and suggested that maybe we should change the rule a bit, I suggested that we only attack those who are at the same lv of ur own th lv or below. A few th8 and 9 agreed . Then I got kicked by a freaking th7 saying I'm not a member here. Gee be honest if we didn't waste our attacks on their th10s we might add some more stars for our clan so we wouldn't lose. I'm a Chinese Canadian sorry about my English here.
I was in a Chinese clan before and our rule was to attack the ones u can get at least two stars from and we had 10-1 record. I left because of they were busy at school and preparetion for Chinese New Year and stuff lol. So I left to travel around clan to clan to see how they attack. I never would think that ppl actually follow this kind of stupid rule. two out of five clans were actually doing this, I'm sure there are more.... Gee I went back to my old clan , it's scary out there. If u join in a clan that does this rule I recommend u quit and join a smart clan.

Theres an easy solution for that, just dont join clans like that, its not a good strategy and they probably wont win many wars

so we had options and like a th8 wasn't forced to attack a th9

This rule has gotten my clan to 100 war wins...however, it is on a case by case basis. Sometimes it can be better to attack a lower for the guaranteed stars.

So u guys are smarter than the one I joined.
For me I like the no jumper rule , like th7 don't attack th8 or above.

So u guys must always do war I guess. Yes it does work when it's evenly matched, but if the enemy clan is strong than u guys. It actually a terrible idea and will cost the war like the one I just had .

We do "first come first serve" attack who you want but just dont go for loot bonus. Give a 3 star effort.

That's the rule in my clan, But is not heavily in-forced as you do come across situations like you mentioned. If someone run's into that then they get put on "Cleanup" for both of there attack's and a higher level will take there base( unless it's the top players ) Then it get's tricky and we push the lower's to finish all of there attackes to see if the 1-2 star's are needed. It work's good to get a feel for the battlefield and everyone know's to use there best judgement. We would rather them drop and get 3* with one attack then to get 1* and in the end someone else is cleaning up the attack anyway's.
