If this is true then they never would have removed it. A "balanced economy" doesn't mean balanced for one stage of the game it means the entire game. The economy may have been balanced for you but was completely ruined for upper town halls.

if you see the wall art, lvl 1 walls are made of wood, each cost 200 Gold.
lvl 2 walls are made of Cobblestone, each cost 1.000 Gold.
lvl 3 walls are made of Solid Stone, each gost 5.000 Gold.
lvl 4 walls are aparently made of Concret or something black, each costs 10.000 Gold.
lvl 5 walls are made of Solid Gold Bars, Here the price get up by 300%, 30.000 Gold.
lvl 6 walls are aparently made of Elixir, i think they only can be ugradable with elixir, since they look like it, 75.000 Gold
lvl 7 walls are aparently made of dark elixir, that not be a bad idea using dark elixir in it, 200.000 Gold

lvl 9 walls are aparently made of some lvl 4 walls together with spikes on the side, 1.000.000 Gold or 1.000.000 elixir.
lvl 10 walls are aparently made of 2 lvl 9 walls together, 3.000.000 Gold or 3.000.000 elixir.
lvl 11 walls are made of Electric wires, 4.000.000 Gold or 4.000.000 elixir.

each lvl 12 walls gonna need 8.000.000 gold and 8.000.000 elixir, and gonna make you lose 1000 trophies and be banned for 30 days making your account back to lvl 1 and someone gonna Hog Rida you and do 3 star without using spells and a meteor gonna crash at your Phone/PC
