If you were attacking a building and someone started shooting at you, you would fight back. Make our troops the same way. If not all some, like archer or wizard, dragons would be nice!

They already are distracted by defending clan castle troops. If they went for any defence attacking them, farming would be harder as troops wouldn't go for the resources and getting three stars using strong armies would probably be too easy (and getting two stars would be harder as troops would go straight past the town hall).
Sorry but I think this would ruin the game.
