    help on gems usage!

    I am a newbie in this forum. Apology for posting in this thread as i did not find any button to create new thread. Recently i bought my 5th builder, as a result my worries for saving gems are over. however i do have lots of possibilities to gain more gems in future. The problem is there are lots of possibilities to use gems. I need to know which investment will be perfect? upgrade time (lab and buildings)? barracks boost? collector boost?

    currently i am in th8 with many more upgrade left. what should i do now?

    The concensus pretty much is boosted barracks is the most cost effective thing. Gemming hero upgrade time is next best uae of gems.

    Personally I think barrack boosts are the best things to spend gems on. It allows you to train troops faster meaning more loot (hopefully)! I wouldn't spend gems on collector boosts unless it's a special 1 gem event boost, but that's because I can get more loot from raiding.

    Except if it's time to go to sleep and you have a builder who has almost finished upgrading something, then i'll spend gems to finish the upgrade (not much 20 gems max) in order to make that guy work on something else.

    Double beneffit :
    - The builder is not sleeping while you are away
    - The ressource used can not be stolen anymore

    thank you. but i still got long way to max my defense, should i forget spending gem on it?

    Upgrade time.

    Sometimes when I'm boosting and the loot is really good I'll boost my kings recovery time too.

    Boosting barracks/heroes/spells or using the gems to finish the upgrade time of heroes past lvl 15 would be the best way to use 'em.

    boost offense buildings if you have no life and play for hours every day
    next best thing is mine and collector boosting
