    "Tag" players for Revenge

    Hi, the current revenge system is not great so would it help if we could tag a player or two, which would effectively tell you when their shield has dropped and /or they have gone offline?

    to keep it balanced we can only tag 2 players at once and the tag remains against the clasher until a) they dissappear off your Defense log or b) you attack them

    (why until you attack them? To stop them going offline and coming back on quickly to get rid of revenge tags against them)

    how would this affect your gameplay?
    how would this affect champions league?

    pls let me know your thoughts so we can build the concept and make revenge better for all.

    I've caught those in my revenge list online and tried to attack them by wearing out the button. They effectively go back into the pool of multi player battles when they go offline and leave you there with a sore finger. The revenge system isn't worth my time or effort anymore after that nonsense. I'd gladly give it up for something more useful like replays.

    That's what was funny about the commercial really.. Revenge is nearly a useless feature aside from a miracle that the person 1)has loot worth revenging 2)is not online 24/7 3)isn't attacked instantly in MP.

    But as soon as they go offline, if you recieved a notification saying ....." Your tagged player X is now available for revenge" or " XYZ is now available for revenge" ... Then that would be useful for you to log on and revenge them before they get hit in multiplayer (if your quick enough)?

    People who revenge is a waste of time. There is no bonus into it, you maybe lucky if their base were full at the time. You can also end up losing more in the process.

    With the current shield system there are far too few bases in the search queue and every base gets sniped as soon as it goes offline so the time between the player going offline and him.being attacked by someone else is very short.

    There is only one strategy that has worked:
    Check his base every 15 minutes until it gets destroyed by someone else. Then wait 11 hours and 45 minutes for his shield to expire (and hope he has not broken his shield before). Then click on revenge again and again until he gets offline. The advantage is here you know when he may get attackable.

    I don't think it's a waste of time, I find people who have 300kgold 300kelixer that are ripe for the picking.

    To revenge simply because someone attacked you isn't a good mindset unless you have something more to gain from it. Revenge is also good for grabbing lots of trophies, so if you're pushing also not a waste.

    It would be a devastating feature for easy targets. So my vote is no
    Level 71 TH9 (5 days until TH10)
