What's the point?
I am usually attacked by a monstrosity that came down in trophy count. Even if I find them online I can't do anything except zapp them but even that is not worth the lix I have spent.
Unless SC will do something radical Liam can be threatening as much as he wants.

I played this game as a TH7 with NO loot penalty. It was brutal. 3 Star loss on every defence. No replays. No chance of protecting loot against these players...but things are a bit different now.
Revenge would actually be a great way to keep things "playable" when you only have 10 mins available and dont want to risk breaking a shield only to press NEXT for the entire 10 mins...
But as it stands, revenge is broken...I have maybe revenged 100 times in the 100s of 1000s of attacks ive done since I started playing this game
I take the attacks as a part of the game ....just swallow the loss and keep clashing. But revenging is not part of my clashing experience.
Thats exactly my point. SC should make revenge capable of being a part of everyone's experience before getting in Hollywood actors to advocate it...Otherwise its kinda dumb to be honest.
The next video is Neeson trying to revenge BigBuffetBoy85...it is less interesting and lasts for just over 2hrs. Just before the closing credits, Neeson stares off into the distance and says:
"Supercell Developers, I dont know who you are or what you think you are trying to achieve but you have made me waste 2hrs of my life chasing BigBuffetBoy85. For that, and indeed messing up my build queue with these 4 second frickin' barbs, I will find you and I will kill you..."
As the screen fades to black we hear:
"Good luck....your account has just been banned."

Touche guys, revenge is indeed mostly broken due to a number of factors. I have no idea what the solutions is, because the problem is a lot of things that add up to where it's horribly broken for anyone but low-cup farmers (and even those ride their free shields hard)...
Personally my TH10 has only ever managed to get about 3 revenges in over the last few months in Champs, despite some serious stalking attempts (one was a TH7 who got to over 4000 - I figured out what time of night he logged off, and only just missed him a couple of times before he eventually fell of my list). Which is a sad waste of time for me. And I think the whole time I've ever been in champs, I've been revenged 1 maybe 2 times (I often have my TH out, contributing to the problem - sad, but true 'cause I'd rather take a -1 snipe 90% of the time than risk -20 with TH in).
Even my little TH9 account (currently in M3) only ever gets revenges on snipers who have dropped back down to silver league thinking they will be safe, but if I see them packing good loot I smash their little bases with as few troops as possible and ♥♥♥♥ even if it was for zero trophies...
Revenge is useless even if I could do it while they were online.

I stick my town hall outside in the effort of getting available revenge targets (th9 or 10) loaded with loot. And I typically get them with their pants down too!

No loot bonus hurts too.
