Every player should have the option of training troops then reserving them for clan donations! When a member of the clan requests for troops there should be a button that gives that player the option to see what troops were put up for donation! The button should allow the player to see all reserved troops AS A COLLECTIVE FROM THE ENTIRE CLAN, not from each individual clan mate. The button should have a pop up similar to the one you see when you donate to someone. The troops should be SEPARATED BY LEVEL. So if you click the archer, barbarian, wiz etc., picture you'd then see all available levels of that troop. In all fairness, CREDIT SHOULD be given out those who reserved troops. If 2 or more people reserved the same level of the same troop, then in small text, their name should be on the specific troop that are identical to another.

(Added)Also a "remove donation request" and "close donation request" button should be added.

The remove donation request button would remove your donation request from the clan chat and serve to fix the problem of getting donated to after you used some of the troops.

The close donation request button would leave your request in the clan chat but block any direct donations. Thus allowing you to use the new feature stated above.

(Added) Of course you can still attack with the troops! Once you hit the attack button your troops are taken off reserve

With this clan mates wouldn't have to wait hours to be donated to! I have experienced this! When I visit a clan mate and see that there village is partially destroyed and they have some troops made! I'm in an adult based clan and we all have families and work so we can't be on 24/7 because we are all in a similar region.

I like this idea, I think that when I request troops I should be able to go into that reserve thing you were talking about but if a clan mate saw my request they could also donate. Incase of the reserves being empty. Just an add on to your idea

So if you do put troops up in reserve will you be able to attack with them? It would for sure be abused if anyone could take anything they wanted from the reserves then they would take all the good stuff and not let the people who actually need for war.

Of course you can still attack with the troops! Once you hit the attack button the troops are taken off reserve (added)

It would not be abused because it is optional to make your troops reserved. Think, if you have strong clan mates that actually donate a lot, everyone is getting strong troops anyways! Also, not every clan has strong members that supply "good" or "strong" troops.

Another thing, donations now are "first come, first serve". This is a optional way of donating that still works in regards to "first come, first serve".

As a late TH8 with tons of excess elixir, do you mean I can just train up about 50 pekkas and put them in reserve for me to use later? Wow what a huge buff man, if this idea gets added I'll be the happiest person in the world! What great news to us who have tons of elixir that can't be used!

But for real? this doesn't seem good, for people with alts, it's gonna be heaven.

No, the reserved troops are your normal troops. The only thing that makes them different is that they are available for your clan mates that need donations.

Good idea, the main problem is that a hopper could come and take your troops. There should be a limit on who can take the reserved troops e.g. doesn't have the new status or at least donated some troops.

Let me explain how this idea damages the loot:

So we put troops up for donation, and anyone can take it right? And I suppose you can take your own stuff too. Because if you put a barb in, and someone else puts a barb in, they are counted as 2 barbs, and so anyone, including yourself and take the 2 barbs back out.

So let's start with me, Smasher. I have 2 million elixir, and nothing to spend it on. I leave my clan, make a new clan called "Excess Elixir", donate 100 wall breakers into the collective place to store them. Then whenever I need elixir, I take them out one by one. Simple!
