Dragons destroy everything that is inside Rage Spell?

Hi guys! Could you enlighten me about something?

A member of my clan claims that when a Dragon is caught by a Rage Spell, the Dragon complies to destroy everything that is inside the area of effect of the Rage Spell and that with it you can change his route.

Is this correct? Or wrong?

Wrong. Rage spells simply rage anything inside the spell, they have no effect on troop behaviours. Interestingly though the dragon is one of the only troops it's actually better to drop rage spells on rather than in front of.

Rage spells only increase the damage and speed of the affected troops. They don't affect what targets they go for. Dragons will still go for the closest building.

No that is incorrect.

When you drop a rage spell on dragons (or any troop) they double in size and speed. This helps them the destroy items that may take longer to destroy. I usually use rage on TH because they require more hit points.
Dragons (are often easily distracted) and can deviate even when they are in the rage spell, once touched by the rage spell they are under the influence for a few seconds more even when they fly away from the rage spell (this also applies to any troops who comes into contact with the rage spell)

I hope that helps – The only spell where troops are attracted to it, is the jump spell (used within range of troops)

Since one of the later updates – dragons are now attracted to troops in clan castles – whereas before they would ignore them.
I once had a dragon cross the entire base to burn archers – and I was yelling at the bugger to ignore them to no avail.

I suggest to try to dragon attack bases where you can lure or easily access and kill castle troops to avoid dragons going on a war path to the other side of the base because troops have come running out of the clan castle.

I've personally seen dragons under the effect of Rage chasing a skeleton from trap from the center where TH was all the way to the edge of the base. So the answer to the OP's question is a resounding no.

True and agreed – but sometimes you need to funnel to clear a path to draw cc troops – or in the past o have avoided the castle and attacked from the side with wiz towers and air defenses – go at them hard – fast
