Empty clan castles

I'm a level 109 clan leader, and i never request for defense.

I leave my town hall out, and I assume anyone good enough to get my loot will know how to handle the cc. Also my cc is centralized so people waste time trying to pull troops that aren't there.

However, I usually raid storages, and sometimes those few Extra troops in the cc get me the de storage. My success is more dependent on how much I raid not how well I defend. So that's how I use my cc troops.

This has become pretty normal. I don't even try to trigger the cc anymore when farming. If cc troops pop out I just deal with it on the fly. They are rarely a problem.

the only time i find defensive troops useful is if my base gets hit with loons and I have wizards in the cc. I usually fill with arch+wiz but I'm not too particular about the ratio for defense.
