Empty clan castles

I'm currently farming in Gold 1 and about 80% of the bases that I raid have no defensive troops in their clan castles. My question is WHY?? It makes no sense ... surely all these TH8-10 bases that I'm attacking can't all be in bad clans that don't donate troops?

That said, if you CC is full of archers then it may as well be empty, and soon will be once I drop a lightning spell on them. . Dragons and Golums are about the only CC troops that cause me to sit up and pay attention.

1.) I am a high th9 Player and I never request cc troops for defense, because I have my th outside even with full Storages I get 80% th snipes. All others cant get more than 2 Storages each if they are good th10s and with cc troops they would get 1 each. Who cares about the possibility of loosing 100K each if I can make 4 Million Gold in 2 hours attacking with boost.

2.) I never use lightning spells on cc troops. I pull them out if the cc is not centered get them in a Corner and put a valkyrie in the middle. If the cc is centered I simply attack anyway and if there is more than a few archers inside I place a heal spell. In most cases they will not kill all giants and even if they do, I am strong enough to get most of the Storages with my valks, archers and heroes.

3.) 90% of the bases are bad players that did not figure out that they should put their th out yet. I dont think that they will request cc troops for defending. All the farming bases get sniped by the first attacker while all the bases with th inside stay in the search Queue.

I almost always have CC troops for defense only (rarely use them in a raid so they sit there).

I once had a lvl3 dragon in my CC for 3 weeks. Nobody could kill it and it saved a lot of raids.
I Don't care about loot at all. But when you come for my storages, I want you to at least work for it!

Agreed, if you have your TH inside and you're not pushing for cups, you're most likely a bad players (who is choking up the search queue). Evidently so bad that they don't even fill their CC with troops. Hey I'm not complaining, it makes it easier to raid their base.

For some reason it can be hard to get some people to request for defense in this game, I'm constantly telling some of the lower town halls in my clan to never go to sleep empty.....doesn't always work but hey, I tried. On the flip side of that with my current style of attacking it pretty much is a moot point whether you have anything much less what it might be as by the time they are triggered most likely the damage has been done.

Now if you come after me expect valks and wiz......secret recipe on the ratios.

I'm top dog in my clan. I'll have someone toss a dragon in for clan war, but I'd rather have my clan mates spend on their own upgrades. On a day to day basis,I can live without their help.

Exactly. A previous attacker could have emptied the clan castle, the guy could have just logged off after attacking & using his castle, or he could be waiting for a special CC request for war and just logged off to catch a shield. There are lots of reasons a CC may be empty.
