Can you really use loonion without boosting?

So i am th9 with max loonion and love the army but can you really use it for farming when you dont have gems to boost? It takes 40m to train and that means average of 3 hour sessions you can only do 4-5 raids... So when are you able to use it consistantly?

I use loonion for farming, the only boosting I do is spell factory.

I farm with it in champs, so when I come back from searching, my army is pretty much fully trained. Spells just take the longest😓

In my opinion, no, but it really depends on your schedule. If you only have time to raid once an hour, use balloonion. If you're able to raid frequently, barch is going to be much, much more effective.

even with barch i attack like 4 times a day so whatever

Agree with this.

I myself use baloonion when I am working since I only need to take a break for 5 minutes every 1 hour to farm so I don't get too distracted from work. That is also enough to cook 2 heal spell.

But when I get home I'll barch nonstop until I am sleepy.

I use Loonion without boost. I just change how I raid. Instead of solid sessions, I'll wait for my Trops Ready notification and raid as soon as I can after that. I've farmed up to level 18 heroes using this method, it is a little more long winded but saves on gems. I also do boosted loonion sessions.

I think it is completely different way of farming for th10s. Instead of putting your th outside and doing 2 hour boosting sessions (6 hour unboosted), you put your th inside relying on your strong th10 base with Infernos. You will not get attacked very much if your Storages are not all full. Then you start your troops and starting watching TV or doing anything else. If you get the message that your troops are ready you do an attack.
The ressources per hour are far lower than with other attack strategies, but the ressources per hour playing is far higher, because you can do that attack strategy all day Long with only using 30 minutes on coc.
I think this is the reason why loonion is so popular for th10s even if it uses only th9 troops (the lvl6 minions will not make such a huge difference). As a th9 or lower you cant let your base offline without a shield for the whole day or you will loose all the ressources you got previously if you are not doing walls and Dumping all your ressources.

Well, u don't really NEED to boost anything, but yes the spells take FOREVER...
