I love clan wars but I'm keeping at least one hero upgrading and aiming for seven lavas each week, so I have to forget about wars and focus on farming.
Timing it right a war doesn't get in the way of farming, unless you don't sleep or work, so I have no issues I can do both, and both well, I farmed and collected the most resources when I was in a 24/7 war clan, because I was always logging on, anyone who says it gets in the way needs to prepare better, is only an issue when a royal is down.
Probably a higher level, a higher Townhall, better walls and better heros.
